Nature Photography
From photographing National Parks across the United States, to capturing flowers at the Park of Roses up the street, here is my collection of His creation.
Hawaii
In the summer of 2024, I travelled to the big island of Hawaii, soaking in its tropical landscapes and marveling at God's pristine creation.

Beach Tree
On the shore of Kailua-Kona lay a lone tree, beckoning a passerby to take refuge under its canopy.

Ocean Mist
Jaded lava rocks gave way for magnificent waves, creating a natural ocean mist as they crashed onto the beach.

Rainbow Falls
Across the island in the town of Hilo, shines forth the roaring waterfall of Rainbow Falls. In the name, a cascading rainbow drifts off of the falls, creating a dreamy effect as it floats away.
Wildlife
These moments strike me as moments that beg to be noticed. Nature, wildlife, His creation, goes mostly unnoticed by the human eye, but almost grasp at attention, portraying beauty itself.

Green Friend
Along the bank of a friend's pond lie this almost hidden creature. Aware of our presence, he watched us with a wary eye, but didn't dare make any sudden movements.

Monarch Show
Buried in the depth of a family friend's garden, the monarch made no attempt to hide its true colors, shining bright for all to see.

Busy Bee (or Bird)
Soaking in the summer evening, this little hummingbird made his way to dinner among the flowers.
American Southwest
Almost a decade ago, I travelled to the American southwest, capturing moments at the Grand Canyon and more supernatural landscapes.

Bryce Canyon
The tint of orange take the viewer off guard at Bryce Canyon, almost as though you're looking out at an extraterrestrial world.

Antelope Canyon
A personal favorite, light shines in this slot canyon for only a small portion of the day, illuminating the cleanly smoothed canyon walls with radiant shadows.

Zion National Park
Rising early in the morning to capture these shots, every 5 minutes brings a different layer of color not there previously.
Flower Power
Flowers have always been close to my heart, perfectly created for us to enjoy.

Endless Spiral
The attraction of roses, I've noticed, is that it's an endlessly enveloping flower, allowing its layers to unfold as it blooms into fruition, captivating the eye.

Pressed
Put against the graying sky, these wildflowers give an aire of being pressed, or flattened, in the image, similar to those preserved from a wedding bouquet.

Sunny Walkway
The cheeriest of flowers, sunflowers always stretch either toward the sun or toward each other. I think it leaves us with a good motto for living.
“The earth is a precious gift of the Creator, who has designed its intrinsic order, thus giving us guidelines to which we must hold ourselves as stewards of his creation."
